New Stores at Eaglesgate Retail Village Boost Local Economy - Thursday 28th April 2010
The economy in Perthshire is set to receive a boost due to the opening of two new stores at the Eaglesgate Retail Village this weekend.
Joining top Scottish brands Baxters, Tiso and Tullibardine Distillery and Visitor Centre, on the site of Scotland’s oldest brewery, are retail brands Pavers Shoes and Leading Labels. Between them they will create sixteen new jobs for south Perthshire.
Pavers Shoes has over 100 stores across the UK and prides itself in stocking both ladies and men’s top quality, comfort footwear at excellent value. With discounts of at least 30% off the RRP on top brands, shoppers can save on top brands including Hush Puppies, Padders, Jessica, Pierre Cardin, Timberland and the revolutionary Italian comfort shoe Fly Flot.
Leading Labels is one of the UK’s largest fashion outlets with 20 stores across the country. It offers a wide selection of top quality brands in ladies and men's clothing at 'real' value prices and consists of long established classics as well as new and up and coming brands including Pringle, Femme, Bassini, Farah and Regatta amongst others.
Douglas Ross, Managing Director of Tullibardine Distillery and Visitor Centre said: "We are delighted to welcome Pavers and Leading Labels to our shopping destination. With the existing presence of top brands Baxters and Tiso and the Tullibardine Distillery and Visitor Centre, the addition of these two stores not only further enhances Eaglesgate, but demonstrates good news that another retailer has confidence to invest in the area."
To mark its expansion and to celebrate the opening of the two new stores, this weekend sees Eaglesgate provide shoppers with special opening offers and the chance to win some fantastic competitions including the chance to win free Pavers shoes for a year and a Tullibardine Whisky Hamper!
